Perfecting Steak Doneness

Rare. Medium. Well Done.

While there is always a debate on the perfect way to cook a steak, the quality of meat is never up for consideration. 111 Beef Republic consistently offers premier cuts, no matter what temperature you like it.

Here are a few tips on how to perfect the doneness of your liking! 

STEAKS:

Method 1: Use an instant-read thermometer and place it through the side of the thickest part of the steak without hitting bones or fat pockets. 

 Medium Rare: 145

Medium: 160

Well done: 170

We suggest pulling steaks off the heat when they are 5-10 degrees before your ideal temperature. Allow the meat to rest for 10 minutes prior to serving.
